Introducing the UK's first chilled tapenade range

We’re thrilled to share the launch of the UK’s first chilled tapenade range from our Bristol-based client The Real Olive Company, creating a new opportunity within the nation’s paste, pesto and dip market. 

We’ve been working with the company’s founders Karin and Ben since 2019 when we helped them to redefine their brand and open the door to wider distribution and increased sales. We were delighted to continue our work with them on this exciting first extension to their range; a Kalamata Olive Tapenade and Smoky Harissa Tapenade. These new tapenades are organic, vegan, plant-based and gluten-free and are the first step in preparing the business to scale up for international growth.

As with their olive range, we drew inspiration from the colours of the sun soaked Mediterranean and created vibrant packs that communicate freshness and flavour. Using pink hues for the kalamata tapenade and warm, spicy tones for the Smoky Harissa Tapenade. 

The Real Olive Company are aiming to grow their presence across the UK on the back of the latest additions to their product range, including within Sainsbury’s where they hope to double their existing footprint in the year ahead, and by targeting sustainability-focused customers across the world.
