The Cotswolds is one of the most visited UK Regions and is a favourite among visitors to the UK, but younger London professionals were not lured to the area as much as we’d like. Partly due to a perception that the Cotswolds is full of old stone cottages and tea rooms. Well, okay there are a lot of old stone cottages, but what about music festivals like Wilderness, cool cities like Bath and Cheltenham and great sporting events like the Cheltenham Festival, the Tough Mudder and motor racing at Castle Combe and Prescott? We sought to create a brand that would appeal to younger more affluent UK and oversees visitors looking for a more diverse offering without alienating the traditional Cotswolds visitor. Never an easy task, but we think we’ve nailed it.
